Public Achievement Groups Website Officially Launched! Print E-mail
Dear Public Achievement Friends,

It is our pleasure to officially launch the new Public Achievement Groups Unite website: www.paunite.org.  This website is the final result of the Public Achievement Groups Unite Project that many of you participated in during 2006 in Poland and Macedonia.  The site is sponsored by the National Endowment for Democracy and came into being thanks to the hard work and dedication of Serdar M. Degirmencioglu and the webmaster Kazim Alat.

We hope this site will be a useful tool for you in your PA work and a means of sharing experiences and ideas throughout the network.  Please take a few minutes to browse through and take a glance at the many resources that are presented.  You will also find information about your groups and soon information about your cross-regional projects will be added.  We welcome your input and hope you will help us update the site by sending us information and pictures about all your PA related work.  We want the world to know what you are doing to further democracy in your countries!

All the best,

Julie, Ala, Agata and Anna from MTO, Poland

Why Young People Want PA?
“It will be good for students to learn that there are many levels of power, and that while they may have little power on their own, if they can find others with the same interests, as a group they have much more power and can really affect changes in their world.” (Lisa Staplin)
